Golden Dust Puppy Application

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN FULL AND SIGN AT THE BOTTOM TO SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION TO GOLDEN DUST RETRIEVERS.

FINANCIALS:
Puppy prices are $3000.00. We do not charge more for our females.

There will be 3-installments.

1. A $500.00 initial deposit to reserve your spot once the application is approved.

2. $1,500.00 payment due at the 4-week mark.

3. $1,500.00 payment due before pick-up.

– ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE with EXCEPTION of: you are unable to obtain the gender of your choice due to how many males and females are born and you opt-out of the opposite gender. IF this scenario arises, we will refund your deposit.

– What is involved with a puppy at this price? Besides both parents being health tested and cleared for over 190 diseases and numerous other certifications, you’re getting a socialized, well-rounded family member! Getting a puppy has really changed over the years. You don’t pay a price and just pick up a puppy. For us, the process starts with careful selection of the stud, pampering of the mom, and endless love for the babies that are born. Once the babies are here, we start neurological stimulation exercises on day 3 (read more on our website) and continue through day 16. After day 16 we have strategic exercises, socialization techniques, desensitizing, and much more based on stages in their development. We invest a lot of time and love into these babies and want them to be well-adjusted, well-mannered, playful, and happy balls of fur by the time they get to you! On pick-up day, we will send you home with a bag of dog food and a fun gift bag of surprises!

How do you choose your puppy?

Choosing is done in deposit order. For example: If you are the 1st person to pay the deposit for a specific litter you get to choose your puppy first and so on….

I will make a note and keep track of your preference of gender or if you choose either. “Either”
is choosing based on personality vs gender. You can do that too if you prefer. We cannot guarantee a specific gender for anyone since we never know what the litter will produce.

The last deposit needs to be looking for personality, not gender. There is a benefit of being last. What’s that you ask? You don’t have to choose! It’s SO hard!

How does this work? You’ll be notified when the puppies are born. (Don’t worry, if it’s at 3:00 a.m. we’ll wait till the next day!) This will include the total number of puppies, gender, and pictures. Immediately after being born, all puppies receive their very own collar. The collar color will be their designated color until they go home to you! They also get a temporary fun name!

I will post videos and pictures to Stevie’s Facebook and Instagram weekly. Every two weeks each puppy will have individual pictures and weight taken. They will be posted to Facebook and Instagram for all to see! This will allow you to see each puppy’s developmental changes as they grow! If you would like additional pictures just text me. I’m sure I will have plenty, I can take individual pictures of a puppy you’re interested in. Choosing your puppy is a very big decision, we understand. We’re here to help.

6-weeks: PLAYDATE TIME! We will invite you over for a play date with the puppies. You will be scheduled in order of deposit. If you can’t attend a virtual visit will be scheduled as a back-up. This is when you ultimately decide on which baby will be yours. (In order of deposit.)

Have you ever had a dog that’s afraid of thunder or fireworks? Studies show that if you introduce these sounds at an early age, they won’t be afraid! Pretty simple but effective!

Our goal is to reduce their fears and build their confidence.

PICK-UP DAY: Pick-up day is scheduled at 8-weeks. You will have a scheduled time that will be determined closer to the pick-up day.
